QRCandy is a Swedish company that provides a platform for ordering premium branded candy with integrated QR codes and real-time scan analytics. We can be reached at hello@qrcandy.co.

By placing an order or creating an account on qrcandy.co, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are ordering on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

2. Products

QRCandy offers branded candy (such as wrapped chocolates, gummies, and confections) that are personalised with your logo, brand colors, custom wrapper text, and a QR code that links to a URL you specify. Each product is manufactured to order based on the design specifications you provide at checkout.

Product images and previews shown on the website are illustrative. Exact colors may vary slightly due to differences in screen calibration and production processes.

We reserve the right to refuse an order if the submitted design contains content that is unlawful, offensive, infringing, or otherwise violates these terms.

3. Placing an Order

To place an order, select a product from our catalog, configure your branding (logo, colors, destination URL, and optional wrapper text), choose a quantity tier, provide your shipping address and email, and complete payment through our secure checkout powered by Stripe.

Your order is an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to decline orders, for example, if a minimum quantity is not met, if payment fails, or if the submitted design does not comply with our requirements. If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund promptly.

Please review your design specifications and delivery address carefully before confirming. Because products are made to order, errors in submitted designs or addresses that are only discovered after production has begun may not be correctable without additional cost.

4. Pricing and Taxes

All prices on the website are displayed in euros (EUR) and are exclusive of VAT (ex. moms). Applicable VAT is calculated at checkout based on your delivery country and added to your total before payment is finalized. Business customers who are VAT-registered in the EU may be eligible for reverse-charge VAT; please contact us if you require a VAT invoice.

Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are displayed separately before you confirm payment. Shipping rates depend on your delivery country, package weight, and the carrier selected.

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the website. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before processing your order.

5. Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as other payment methods made available by Stripe in your region.

Payment is due in full at the time of checkout. Your card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure payment page and are never transmitted to or stored by QRCandy. Production begins only after your payment has been confirmed.

If a payment fails, your order will not be placed. You may retry checkout at any time. If a charge is disputed through your bank, we may suspend your account pending resolution.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We ship to EU member states and select other European countries. The available shipping destinations and rates are shown during checkout.

Because our products are manufactured to order, please allow for a production lead time of approximately two to four weeks before dispatch. This is in addition to carrier transit time, which typically ranges from three to ten business days depending on your location. Delivery estimates provided at checkout are indicative and not guaranteed.

Risk of loss and damage to goods passes to you upon delivery. For orders delivered to consumers in the EU, risk passes upon physical receipt by you or a person you designate (not upon handover to the carrier).

If your order has not arrived within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, please contact us at hello@qrcandy.co. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, postal strikes, or other events outside our control.

7. Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to QRCandy products. Please read this section carefully before placing your order.

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU), implemented in Sweden as Lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler (2005:59), consumers generally have 14 calendar days from delivery to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

However, this right does not apply to QRCandy's products for two independent reasons:

  • Personalised goods (Article 16(c)): All of our products are manufactured to your specific design, incorporating your logo, brand colors, destination URL, and wrapper text. Once production has begun, they cannot be resold or repurposed for other customers.
  • Perishable goods (Article 16(d)): Candy and confectionery are goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, which also excludes them from the statutory right of withdrawal.

If you are a business customer, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply regardless, as it is available only to consumers.

This exclusion applies to all orders. If your order is defective, wrong, or damaged, please refer to Section 8 (Defects and Complaints), which sets out your remedies in those cases.

8. Defects and Complaints

If a product you receive is defective, damaged in transit, or does not match the design specifications you confirmed at checkout, please contact us as soon as possible after discovering the problem:

  • Include your order number and a description of the issue
  • Attach photos of the defect or damage where applicable

Consumer customers benefit from a three-year complaint period under Swedish Konsumentköplagen (2022:260). You should notify us of a defect within a reasonable time after you discover or should have discovered it. Business customers should raise complaints within 30 days of delivery; commercial disputes are otherwise governed by Swedish general law.

In line with Konsumentköplagen, we will first offer to reprint or replace the affected products. If that remedy is not possible or fails within a reasonable time, you may request a proportionate price reduction. If the defect is material and cannot otherwise be remedied, you may cancel the order for a full refund.

Complaints about aspects of the product that fall within normal variation tolerances for candy manufacturing (minor color variance, slight weight differences) will not qualify for a remedy.

9. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain full ownership of any brand assets you upload: logos, trademarks, and artwork. By submitting these to us, you grant QRCandy a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce them solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. You confirm that you hold the rights necessary to use and print all submitted content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

Our platform: The QRCandy platform, website design, software, and any content we create are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of our platform without our prior written permission.

10. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not share your account with others or use someone else's account without permission. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at hello@qrcandy.co.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are in breach of these terms, misusing the platform, or engaging in fraudulent activity. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us; note that order records must be retained for seven years under Swedish accounting law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Swedish law, QRCandy's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a specific order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, or damage to reputation, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, carrier failures, or industrial action.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Swedish law.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Swedish consumer protection legislation, including Konsumentköplagen (2022:260) and Lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler (2005:59), applies to the extent required for consumers residing in the EU.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through the above routes, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Swedish courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 calendar days before the new terms take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. The current version is always available at qrcandy.co/terms.

Continuing to use our services after the effective date of updated terms constitutes your acceptance of those terms.
